eye of the cedar 1: Face-to-Ent face
Outside the North Star Mine in Grass Valley, California USA
(sigh) OK, I have to come clean on this one. My guide say it immediately and after chatting with the incredible docent at the mine’s museum, she went right to these trees and started shooting. If she hadn’t told me – even then – what she was shooting at, I never would have known. LOL! Worse, when she walked away, I became interested in them too but was sorta embarrassed to shoot them then (Male pride and all, ya know). But she was looking and I wanted the shot badly enough so I sucked it up and went for it.
Thanks for the nice comments on the capture. She’ll be thrilled, the brat.
PS Thanks Joak for reminding me of the obvious. ;-)
