This is poison oak

Take a good look at this stuff and you’ll know about 1/5 of what you need to know to avoid it. It changes colours multiple times on the same plant. It grows up, down, and sideways. It can get you even when it’s not there because it was there and you didn’t know it. And it’s not an oak tree. Poison ivy looks like ivy; poison oak looks like Odo from that Star Trek series: anything it wants to look like.

Whatever you do, don’t pick it up, aim it at the camera, and take lots of pictures of it to post online or sell worldwide.

This concludes the class Poison Oak 101. There will be a quiz when your itching stops.

PS Some people seem to be immune to the effects of poison oak. I’m one of them. So, no I’m not a blithering idiot willing to do anything for The Shot. Well, that’s not really true; I’ll do anything until I find one thing I won’t do. Then I’ll correct myself. But it’s just AWESOME that there’s one thing where I finally get the advantage over the everyday bloke. Heeee heeee and woo hoo! :-D
