At the Bluffs

The housing tract behind this vantage point of the American River used to be called The Bluffs and it sported some of the most expensive houses in Sacramento California. For reasons I know nothing about, it fell out of favour badly years ago and now $1 MILLION DOLLAR HOMES are just sitting vacant with for sale signs on them.

The Bluff is as high as it looks and sheer enough so that a fall would deposit you in the wide and deep river but shallow enough so you’d be pretty beat up when you got there. :-)
