Tower Bridge, revisited
As close as I could come to the same location on the same lamppost with the angle, was my aim for this second look at Sacramento’s most famous bridge. The temperature was about the same (colder than a witch’s [nipple]), the ice cold wind was absent, but the fog was rolling in. Over 60 shots later, I got approximately the same quality as I did in less than 15 shots with a point-and-shoot! There are just so many options with DSLR (not just my Nikon D80) that I had to play with it in everything from the ‘nighttime’ preset to aperture, ISO, exposure offset, etc.
I’m not as happy with the results yet; maybe they will grow on me. And there’s certainly no absence of additional shots to edit. LOL!
^^ Amendment to previous statement from the original text: The shot has grown on me since writing this but I still vow to do a better one as soon as the opportunity arises. ^^
