side glass, historic St Emmanuel's Episcopal Church (Best Viewed Large)
historic St Emmanuel’s Episcopal Church is in the heart of the city of Grass Valley and has the oldest original edifice of any Episcopal church in California. It was build during the gold rush and has been a place of worship ever since. The rest of the original church was been rebuilt but this stained glass seemed original both in its naturally fading colours from constant direct sunlight and its construction.
The design in all stained glass in churches has specific meaning but I’m not sure what this piece depicts.
