...beautiful tail feathers of a male turkey doing his courtship dance. Actually, the turkey’s entire plumage is rather iridescent. It was only this year that I saw turkeys flying. I almost had one impact the windshield it was flying so low and slow. In the early evening, you can find them roosted in the tall trees of the local golf course. How they get up there is something I’ve yet to see. It has to be hysterical tho. :-D
