Me? Me? Really, ME???
Someone from someplace other than Sacramento, California chime in on this one, please. :-) Squirrels who are actively interested in you sending something their way will stop, stare, and tap their chests with one paw. Occasionally, if one is really, really hungry, the little guy has to stop and stand up to tap BOTH from paws on his chest. ( It doesn’t strike fear into the hearts of any virgins I know like King Kong’s did. But then again, I don’t know any virgins. Maybe the terror is directly related to the condition of hymens. I can’t explain why the guys in the movies all got scared too and, honestly, the thought scares me enough: sorta like “Deliverance And The Beanstalk”. :-O )
But if this phenomena is present in other locals, either the 100th monkey was a squirrel or they figured out how to act cute for humans all on their own.
